Pastor JC Moon
Pastor JC serves as the lead pastor of New Horizon Community Church. He migrated from South Korea to the United States in 1982. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA and his Master of Divinity in Pastoral Counseling at Southern Baptist Theology Seminary in Louisville, KY. He was ordained in 1999. In addition, he has served as a pastor at Virginia Korean Baptist Church, Korean Baptist Church of Washington, and Calvary Korean Baptist Church. Pastor JC is married to Hana Moon and together they have three children Jessica, Jonathan, and Jamie.
Pastor Terry Smith
Pastor Terry has served as the senior pastor of Jerusalem Baptist Church since April 2000. He earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree at the University of Northern Colorado. In addition, he earned a master’s degree at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a doctorate at Andersonville Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served in ministry for more than 38 years and been involved in global mission efforts. Pastor Terry is married to Sandi Smith and together they have two grown sons, Scott and Jeremy. Scott serves as the senior pastor of Wellspring Church along with his family. Jeremy with family serves as missionaries in Southeast Asia.
Pastor Tony Ghareeb
Pastor Tony serves as the the lead pastor of Arabic New Life Church. He is of native of the middle East. At age 13, he was saved and sensed God’s calling for ministry soon after. He has a bachelor’s degree in theology and a master’s degree in ministry from Virginia Baptist College. Pastor Tony’s passion is to evangelize the lost, disciple new believers, and plant churches. In addition, he leads an active outreach ministry to Arab and international groups in our area and beyond. Pastor Tony is married to Souzan Ghareeb, and the Lord blessed them with four children.
Pastor Julio Ruiz
Pastor Julio serves as the lead pastor of Iglesia Bautista Ambiente de Gracia. He has a degree in theology and has taken courses in Canada for his master’s degree. In addition to being the president of Venezuelan Baptist Convention on the three occasions, he also taught in the Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married to Carmen Almera Ruiz and together they have three daughters Laura, Oly, and Sara.
